Using Diffr

Diffr is small on purpose. There's a review to do, and these are the controls. Found something wrong or missing? Email hi@getdiffr.com.

Keyboard reference

The review is a keyboard flow. Every shortcut below works from the diff view without a modifier unless shown.

Themes

Tokyo Night ships free and is the default. Diffr's theme is data — a set of tokens plus a Shiki highlight theme — so switching is instant and complete, from the file tree to the intra-line diff colors.

  1. Open the command palette with K and type theme, or go to Settings → Theme.
  2. Pick a theme. It applies live — no reload.
  3. Themes beyond Tokyo Night carry a small PRO tag. During the 14-day trial they're all included.

License activation

Diffr Pro is a license key, not an account. Keys verify offline — no account, no server check.

  1. Buy a license from the pricing page. You'll get a key by email.
  2. In Diffr, open Settings → License.
  3. Paste the key and press Enter. Pro activates immediately, on this and every Mac you own.
Reverse trial

First launch includes Pro for 14 days with no key. After that, Diffr reverts to Free and keeps every core feature. You lose the comforts, never the review.

Uninstall

No hidden hooks, no background daemon. Removing Diffr is dragging one app to the trash.

  1. Quit Diffr.
  2. Drag Diffr.app from Applications to the Trash.
  3. Optional: remove local settings at ~/Library/Application Support/com.getdiffr.diffr.

Your repositories are never touched — Diffr only ever read them.
